Grow your knowledge of building construction methods, structural systems, details, coordination, and drawing production so that you can more fully participate in the design process beyond drafting markups
Work in a team setting with other structural team members and disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, architectural, and civil
Effectively handle multiple projects and multiple deadlines including planning, organizing, and prioritizing work
Work with Autodesk REVIT to create models and drawings that document the structural design of buildings and industrial-related structures
Assist in the coordination of structural design with team members of other disciplines
Maintain master models for client campuses
Produce construction drawings at each stage of the design and documentation process, working closely with engineering staff for feedback and quality control
Assist with certain structural design tasks under the guidance of a structural engineer
Assist in field investigations of existing facilities and collect 3D laser scans to get accurate data

Experience: this is an entry-level position for a self-motivated technology power user
Education: Associate degree in CAD Technology
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to wear personal protective equipment required for specific clients and sites
Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
Able to collaborate with other team members and have good interpersonal skills
Ability to drive and have access to vehicle
Able to work occasional overtime hours
Software: Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD - Structural focus preferred, but not required. General computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
