Architect - Assistant Manager

Description

The role supervises the daily activities of the business design management plan, ensuring compliance with business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements across projects. It also oversees the effectiveness of these processes to meet project objectives.

• Deliver elements of the annual business plan within timeframes and budget.
• Develop working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.
• Present design review data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to project and sub‑function leadership.
• Provide operational delivery of team/regional strategy.
• Support business development and work‑winning activities.
• Ensure the management system is followed and project roles and responsibilities are met across portfolios.
• Manage a small team of direct reports, coordinating work activities and providing performance management, development, and coaching.
• Assist and contribute to management reviews by collating, analysing, and presenting data and key metrics.
• Work collaboratively toward net‑zero carbon transition and manage associated carbon emissions and reductions during delivery.

Requirements

Successful candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in architecture and have experience with similar projects. Strong collaboration, leadership, and a commitment to sustainability are essential.
