Manage and maintain tax provisioning in line with IFRS/AASB standards for monthly, half-yearly, and year-end reporting, including effective tax rate (ETR) analysis.
Lead the preparation and lodgement of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), ensuring GST compliance and reconciliation.
Assist with continuous improvement of tax processes, controls, and technology utilization (e.g., SAP) within the finance function.
Manage and prepare all corporate tax returns, including Income Tax Returns, FBT Returns, and R&D Tax Incentive claims, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Oversee and ensure compliance with transfer pricing documentation requirements and related party transactions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external tax auditors and advisors, and manage tax-related queries from the ATO and state revenue offices.
Provide expert tax advice to the business on complex transactions, new initiatives, and general tax matters to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize tax efficiency.

Strong technical expertise in Australian corporate tax (Income Tax, GST, FBT) is essential, coupled with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively explaining complex tax issues to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and lead the tax compliance function with minimal supervision.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Senior Tax Accountant role within a large commercial environment or Big 4/Mid-Tier accounting firm.
Practical experience with SAP or a similar large-scale ERP system for financial and tax reporting is highly regarded.
CPA/CA qualification and/or a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law is required.
