Perform work safely and effectively
Evaluate point cloud data and extract information for use by design teams
Work with our engineering and construction teams to develop designs and deliverables
Actively participate in technical and soft skills courses, as well as discipline-specific pieces of training presented by industry professionals
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
Participate in design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make recommendations
Research and analyze data
Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Inroads and Revit software to produce estimate, design and or construction deliverables
Build professional relationships with discipline-specific peer advisors and managers
Design and present an End of Program Presentation to showcase your work and development throughout your internship
Follow company’s CAD and quality standards
Assist with quantity take offs that will then be reviewed and presented to a few different groups including Discipline Leads and Managers, Project Counterparts, and Project Control Managers
Collaborate with teammates on projects that directly impact the business
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines

Ability to work 40 hours per week for 8-10 weeks during the summer, providing own transportation or ability to work 10 hours per week during the scheduled school year.

Current high school Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
Demonstrates professionalism and maturity on a day-to-day basis
Preferably has experience with Engineering Software such as AutoCAD/MicroStation, Bluebeam, Revit, Civil 3D/ORD (Open Roads Design)
Preferably has held a leadership role within a team, organization, club, etc
