Perform field reviews to gather data, validate existing conditions, and support design decisions.
Assist in the design and analysis of overhead transmission and distribution lines using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE for various structure types and voltage classes.
Contribute to the preparation of engineering deliverables, drawings, calculations, and documentation.
Support the preparation of bill of materials, specifications, and other technical project documentation.
Seek direction as needed to ensure adherence to established engineering standards and practices.
Assist senior staff in addressing client needs by providing timely, accurate, and well-documented design support.
Ensure adherence to applicable standards, including NESC, utility specifications, and relevant codes.
Receive close supervision and detailed guidance on project objectives, specific tasks, and design procedures.
Conduct engineering tasks related to conductor clearances, sags, blow-out, design criteria, and compliance reviews.
Help support client-focused outcomes by contributing to high-quality deliverables.
Perform structure modeling, line routing, sag/tension calculations, and the development of plan/profile drawings.
Work collaboratively with internal team members, including project managers, senior engineers, and drafters, to support project execution and meet schedule requirements.
