Process Technician - (Industrial Wastewater Treatment Projects)

Description

• Ensuring the plant meets required performance criteria and is optimised for operation
• Rapid assessment of optimum solutions to meet business needs
• The role will be a mixture of lab, field and office based and will involve collection and analysis of samples and interpretation of results.

Requirements

• The candidate must be willing to travel to a range of sites throughout the UK and some projects may involve working away for short periods from time to time.
• This role is well suited to someone who is keen to gain practical experience of operating ETP’s and working within a diverse team on environmental consultancy projects.
• The ideal candidate would be someone who has gained relevant practical experience, with an interest in providing practical solutions to environmental improvement.
• Practical experience of working on industrial sites / water utility sites
• Awareness of H&S requirements for working on sites (RAMS, permits, inductions)
• Automated Engineering
• Baseline understanding of wastewater and sludge treatment processes
• Theoretical knowledge in water/wastewater processes
• Field experience involving sample collection and use of sampling machines and flow meters
• Practical experience of working on wastewater and ETP sites
• Willing to work outdoors and collect and analyse wastewater samples
• Good communicator, coordinating with various teams and to your line manager
• Excellent laboratory skills
• Full clean UK driver’s license and access to own vehicle essential
