- Partner with engineering, operations, policy, and executive teams to ensure regulatory risks are identified, tracked, and mitigated.

- 6+ years of legal experience, including direct regulatory, permitting, or administrative law experience.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with government agencies or preparing regulatory filings, audits, or applications.
- Clear, concise communicator capable of advising both technical teams and senior leadership.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills with ability to synthesize technical and legal information.
- Familiarity with compliance program design, audits, or internal investigations.
- Familiarity with applicable regulatory frameworks such as NEPA, CEQA, CAA, CWA, FERC, DOE, EPA, or equivalent depending on jurisdiction and sector.
- Working knowledge of administrative law and regulatory litigation processes.
- Prior in-house counsel role at a company operating under a complex regulatory framework.
- Experience supporting large-scale projects requiring permitting, siting, or environmental review.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience in one or more regulated sectors: energy, utilities, infrastructure, transportation, or environmental.
