Design electrical hardware solutions, including control panels, MCCs, and system layouts, to meet client specifications and industry standards.
Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to inform design development.
Select and specify appropriate electrical components, taking into account safety, functionality, and cost.
Ensure all designs comply with health & safety regulations, relevant British and international standards, and company processes.
Support workshop build, panel testing, and commissioning activities as required.
Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, cable schedules, and layout drawings using CAD software.
Work closely with project managers, software engineers, and on-site teams to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and client meetings, providing clear technical communication and updates.

Proficient with CAD design tool EPLAN is essential, AutoCAD desirable.
Knowledge of electrical protection, circuit design, and industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, automation equipment).

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication and teamwork, able to work with colleagues and clients at all levels.
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience in electrical hardware design within an industrial automation, process, or manufacturing environment.
