What you would be doing

  • Access the roof via aerial lift, ladders, platforms, or other means to perform work and mobilize materials safety within company policies and procedures
  • Compare actual site conditions to engineering drawings for discrepancies, coordinate with onsite trades as necessary, and communicate any issues to supervisor and project management.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, vehicles, etc. for the purpose of ensuring availability, function, and safety
  • Fabricate and install products using standardized practices and methods
  • Perform quality control and standardization for all phases of installation
  • Read and interpret building plans and drawings
  • Proactively monitor, track, and take necessary action to complete projects and report daily progress to supervisor
  • Transport various items (e.g., tools, equipment, supplies) to and while on the job site
  • Perform basic math calculations
  • Operate company and rental vehicles safely

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Complete work at heights, such as on rooftops, elevated platforms, or other areas where fall protection personal protective equipment may be required for safety if other guards are not in place
  • Understands, has training in OSHA/ANSI fall protection standards
  • Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to perform duties.
  • Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency
  • Experience with installation or construction projects, fall protection preferred
  • Experience with scissor lifts, aerial lifts, and forklifts
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Understands the exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
  • Understanding of engineering, architecture, and other construction drawings
  • Ability to react quickly and calmly to high-pressure situations
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Understanding of construction trades and installation work
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests and MVR check
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, technical degree preferred
  • Ability to travel (overnight/multiple night stays based on supported projects) to various US-based locations to perform installations at client locations
  • Must be able to meet the weight capacity of design perimeters of fall protection systems (between 130 to 310 lbs.).
