The position supports multi‑disciplinary project design teams, contributing to electrical design, calculations, analyses, and documentation while mentoring less‑experienced engineers.
- Support electrical design engineering on multi‑disciplinary project teams.
- Produce engineering calculations, analyses, and detailed reports.
- Prepare design inputs such as site plans, power and lighting layouts, one‑line diagrams, conduit schedules, and wiring diagrams.
- Apply electrical engineering expertise to qualify structures, systems, and components.
- Develop procurement and construction specifications.
- Attend project meetings and conduct field walk‑downs.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Use or learn load‑flow, arc‑flash, and lighting analysis software (ETAP, SKM, Visual, AGI32).

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, hold a BSEE or MSEE from an ABET‑accredited program, have at least seven years of progressive electrical engineering experience (preferably in a nuclear environment), and be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Apply NEC, UL508, electrical codes, and IES Lighting Handbook knowledge.
- Maintain U.S. citizenship, obtain security clearance, and hold a BSEE/MSEE from an ABET‑accredited program with 7+ years progressive experience, preferably nuclear.
