The Maintenance Manager leads a team that keeps production operations running smoothly and safely. This role ensures equipment reliability, optimizes maintenance processes, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement while balancing cost, quality, and safety.
- Develop and review work plans for maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Make purchasing decisions for tools and equipment, seeking cost‑effective solutions.

- Coach and mentor team members to enhance skills and engagement.

- Create and manage maintenance schedules for multiple assets using planning tools or CMMS.
- Prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and adjust plans when unexpected issues arise.
- Analyze data and make informed decisions under pressure, balancing cost, safety, and compliance.
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues, apply root‑cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone), and implement corrective actions.
- Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles, monitor OEE metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
