AP/Payment Monitoring

• Validate ECAC creation for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify, qualify, and recommend vendors in line with project and business requirements.
• Oversee project scope, ensuring alignment with capital expenditure objectives.
• Monitor ECAC approval processes to ensure timely completion.
• Provide oversight and facilitation of procurement agreements.
• Provide closure oversight, ensuring proper documentation and compliance at project completion.
• Monitor and facilitate supplier setup and onboarding.
• Provide Medius training and support to stakeholders.
• Facilitate approval processes for invoices and payments.
• Lead commercial terms negotiations and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Monitor capital project payments against approved budgets.
• Review, monitor, and expedite payments to ensure compliance with project timelines.
• Review and approve purchase order (PO) creation.
• Provide training on ECAC processes as required.
• Oversee and monitor Medius AP system including review and validation.
• Track project timelines, milestones, and key deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to verify that specifications meet functional and operational needs.
• Build and maintain a reliable and compliant supplier base.
• Conduct commercial negotiations on terms, pricing, and delivery conditions.
• Review and analyze supplier quotations and proposals per VTCR procurement guidelines.
• Expedite procurement activities and follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships to support project execution.
• Ensure clear technical specifications are documented, validated, and aligned with end-user requirements.
• Ensure supplier proposals align with project scope, budget, and timeline.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Capex Manager to oversee capital expenditure processes, procurement, and payment monitoring across multiple projects. This role is critical in ensuring that investments, supplier engagements, and project expenditures are executed efficiently, aligned with business objectives, and compliant with corporate policies and standards. The Capex Manager will collaborate closely with finance, engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of VTCR and GTC procurement guidelines.
• Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience managing capital expenditure projects, procurement, or financial oversight in an industrial or technical environment.
• Strong organizational skills and financial acumen with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Medius or similar AP/Procurement platforms.
• Experience with ECAC monitoring, validation, and reporting.
• Strong project management background with exposure to Capex tracking and reporting.
• Ability to drive multiple capital projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
