The role supports the design, development, deployment, and monitoring of global procurement capabilities and serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the GEP SMART platform. It emphasizes advanced functions including analytics, contract lifecycle management, supplier master data, sourcing, cost modeling, and integrated category management.
Key responsibilities include leading lean procurement projects, gathering Voice of Business and Voice of Customer requirements, developing implementation plans, and establishing standardized best practices and tools. The SME will also define functional requirements, partner with IT through Azure DevOps, execute User Acceptance Testing, provide end‑user training, and monitor system performance to drive continuous improvement.
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required. Essential skills encompass business process improvement, data analytics, effective communication, negotiation, matrix management, cost‑benefit analysis, category management, and hands‑on experience with GEP QUANTUM and Azure DevOps processes.
Preferred candidates have experience in procurement transformation projects, advanced Excel and data visualization abilities, Snowflake familiarity, and knowledge of compliance and risk management for supplier onboarding. Success will be measured by KPIs such as zero critical UAT defects, high adoption rates for new features, reduced sourcing cycle times, and stakeholder satisfaction scores of 4.5 or higher.
The position is based on-site in Mossville, IL, with less than 25% travel, and does not include relocation assistance or sponsorship.
