Lead the implementation and utilization of SAP for real-time billing, budgeting, and financial reporting across all project verticals.
Drive timely processing and settlement of invoices in line with contractual obligations.
Ensure alignment of billing data with material reconciliations and contractual deliverables.
Coordinate with engineering, site execution, project management and finance teams to ensure billing alignment with contract and drawings.
Monitor contractor performance and maintain documentation for change orders, extra items, and deviations.
Highlight risks or delays in billing cycles and recommend corrective measures to ensure healthy project cash flows.
Track financial performance against forecasts and generate variance reports with actionable insights.
Review and certify contractor and subcontractor bills based on actual work progress and contractual terms.
Maintain integration of budgeting and cost modules with procurement and project execution in SAP.
Drive project cost optimization by collaborating with cross-functional teams during project planning and execution.
Develop and maintain detailed cash flow projections linked to billing cycles and project milestones.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in recording contractor and vendor bills in SAP.
Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets in alignment with approved business plans and cost benchmarks.

Hands-on experience in project budgeting, cash flow management, and commercial reporting
15+ years in IPP/ EPC or infrastructure project management with a strong focus on billing and budgeting
SAP-Based Billing & Cost Control
Proficient in SAP (especially in modules related to billing, budgeting, and cost control)
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
Strong understanding of contractor billing, quantity reconciliation, and cost analysis
High attention to detail and process compliance
B.E. in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Experience in SAP rollout or working in an SAP-integrated environment is mandatory
Previous roles in large infrastructure or renewable energy companies, with exposure to utility-scale solar or industrial projects
Additional certifications in Contract Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Planning will be an advantage
