What you would be doing

Work closely with others to ensure timely completion of projects and resolve any welding-related issues.
Perform MIG, TIF, and/or stick welding on metal components and assemblies according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment; report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
Prepare materials for wielding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces; handle and store materials safely and efficiently.
Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications; conduct tests to ensure welds meet required standards.
Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, including setting up machines, changing electrodes, and ensuring proper functioning.
Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to accurately complete welding tasks.

High School Diploma and one (1) year of MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Working knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
Excellent precision and accuracy in welding tasks including a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Welding certification(s) from an accredited institution or organization preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
