What you would be doing

- Provides daily operational guidance to team leaders and warehouse operators.
- Organise and follow up on stock counts (wall-to-wall counts).
- Organise the removal of various waste streams.
- Identifying bottlenecks in warehouse processes and making suggestions for improvement.
- Informs team members about safety issues or developments.
- Implementing process optimisations.
- Supporting production and warehouse with stock corrections.
- Ensure sufficient resources are available to allow the process to run according to plan and procedure.
- Planning optimal capacity in warehouse and transport for the relevant Plant(s).
- Ensure the availability of procedures, work instructions, etc.
- Managing warehouse staff.
- Monitors the progress and quality of goods receipt, warehouse management, internal transport and outbound.
- Planning the desired qualitative and quantitative staffing levels.
- Ensure the availability and maintenance of internal transport equipment and racking.

- Bachelor degree education (preferably in Logistics Management).
- Strong experience working in a Logistics environment
- Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel.
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Extensive experience with ERP (preferably SAP).
- Excellent experience working in a managerial position
