Mechanical Engineer

Description

• Evaluate shop drawings to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to contract requirements.
• Establish project goals, scope, and design parameters.
• Direct the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and related deliverables.
• Lead the design, analysis, and documentation of mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and conduct on-site evaluations as needed.
• Develop cost estimates, technical specifications, and perform design reviews.
• Oversee and mentor team members handling calculations, equipment selection, and detailed design tasks.
• Verify that all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical focus.
• Proficiency in REVIT, Trane TRACE, and other industry-standard design tools.
• Able to work efficiently and maintain flexibility in a dynamic environment.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical codes and regulatory standards.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong background in HVAC design, with familiarity in piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and team coordination capabilities.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum of five years of experience in consulting engineering.
