Develop space plans, detailed drawings, elevations, material palettes, and 3D renderings in collaboration with HS project teams.
Source exterior materials, fixtures, finishes, furnishings, and custom elements appropriate for residential use and environmental conditions.

Create exterior design concepts that complement landscape architecture plans for residential properties for HS projects and individual clients.
Design outdoor furniture and fixtures for use on patios, pool areas, outdoor kitchens. Create lighting plans, and related exterior elements. Designer will work with HS project teams to collaborate on overall style and vibe in the space,
Prepare detailed specifications and manage vendor relationships.
Collaborate with architects, builders, millworkers, and specialty contractors to ensure accurate design execution.
Conduct site visits during design, construction, and installation phases.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
Lifting, Carrying and Moving: Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving up to 20 lbs. or more of materials onsite or to/from the site and in the office. Specifically, during layouts, lifting, carrying, and moving can be large parts of the workday.
Mobility: Frequent visits to jobsites require being outdoors for extended periods from time-to-time in variable site conditions.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in residential interior/exterior design; experience working alongside landscape architecture teams is a strong plus.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of residential construction practices and design standards.
Working conditions: Our clients’ projects are across the USA, and therefore this position requires the ability to work outdoors frequently at jobsites in all weather conditions and throughout all seasons: sun, rain, ice, snow, etc., depending on location.
Knowledge of materials suited for outdoor environments and a variety of climates/regions.
Excellent communication, client presentation, and project management skills.
Familiarity with local permitting and construction processes; professional certifications (NCIDQ, LEED, or state licensure) are desirable but not required.
