  • Drive cultural change by embedding EHS and Quality best practices into daily operations, ensuring a proactive, prevention-based approach.
  • Design and implement a standardized global EHS management system that meets or exceeds regulatory and industry standards.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure (and report) on quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead global initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment of EHS and Quality initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Lead efforts and partner with our global sustainability team to minimize environmental impact, drive sustainability initiatives, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Implement a robust global audit and assessment process to identify gaps, drive corrective actions, and track improvements.
  • Ensure all facilities comply with local, national, and international EHS and Quality regulations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Oversee training programs to enhance EHS competency at all levels of the organization. Collaborate with the learning and development team to develop and deploy employee training programs.
  • Establish and lead a globally aligned EHS and Quality leadership team to drive consistency and accountability.
  • Drive a culture of compliance without compromise and world class EHS performance at our global sites.
  • Develop and implement a global Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is integrated into all processes from design to delivery.
  • Develop and manage a global incident management and reporting system to improve risk identification, mitigation, and response. Establish global reporting requirements and a cadence for reporting.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes and emerging trends to proactively adjust company policies and procedures. Partner with key internal stakeholders to activate changes accordingly.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives to drive ownership of EHS and Quality across the organization.
  • Develop and execute a global strategy to harmonize EHS and Quality programs, policies, and standards across all regions. Collaborate with human resources to ensure alignment of policies that impact employee responsibilities and behavior.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing global EHS and Quality team.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant industry standards.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in EHS and Quality within a global manufacturing environment, preferably in the commercial flooring.
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master’s is preferred).
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and drive change in a complex, multinational environment.
  • Proven experience implementing global EHS and Quality management systems and driving standardization across multiple regions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
