Senior Streets Engineer

Description

• Responding to design queries during construction;
• Manage other staff members with the delivery of design drawings, supporting transportation analysis and the preparation of reports;
• Preparation of Contract tender documents and Procurement Process;
• A ct as project manager including liaising with clients and other design teams;
• Be responsible for contract administration on site;
• Preliminary Design and the Planning Process;
• Manage sub-consultants and other in-house Arup discipline teams;
• Prepare fee proposals and manage budgets for individual projects;
• Be responsible for the delivery of project solutions;
• Prepare preliminary and detailed design;

Requirements

• Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS);
• Highway Geometric Design including the Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) Publications (formerly the DMRB);
• Traffic Modelling Software (i.e. LINSIG, Junctions 9, VISSIM, etc..);
• Urban Street Design (including a good understanding of the Design Manual for Urban Roads and Streets (DMURS), The Traffic Signs Manual, the National Cycle Manual etc..);
• Civil Engineering Design;
