- Represent DEA in external forums and partnerships
- Guide the Mobile, Static, and UAS Communities of Practice
- Provide leadership to supervisors and staff through goal setting, career development, and day-to-day management
- Develop and oversee QA/QC standards for remote sensing deliverables
- Collaborate with clients to understand expectations and success metrics
- Stay current with emerging remote sensing tools, technologies, and trends
- Foster a culture of innovation and shared learning
- Ensure delivery of high-quality remote sensing services across business units
- Help expand DEA’s remote sensing footprint through strategic planning
- Champion new workflows and methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Identify integration opportunities across client teams and geographic regions
- Support pursuit strategy with Geomatics and Regional Market Leaders
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Coordinate remote sensing with broader Geomatics and Marine Services operations
- Coordinate training opportunities to advance internal expertise
- Lead internal and external presentations to share knowledge and insights
- Deliver tailored technical solutions that exceed client expectations

- Experience with Departments of Transportation in the Western U.S.
- Working knowledge of GIS, photogrammetry, and modeling integration
- Demonstrated success supervising staff and managing technical teams
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- 10+ years of survey experience, including 5+ years in remote laser scanning and sUAS
- Ability to set SMART goals and communicate strategy
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
- Strong industry presence and commitment to thought leadership
- Support for continuing education and professional development
- The posted salary range represents the typical range for this position and is provided in accordance with applicable state and local transparency laws. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
- Anticipated salary range: $140,000 to $170,000
