As an Associate Director in the Public Sector Valuations team, you will be based in one of our CBD offices across Australia. The role is pivotal in delivering expert valuation and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of government clients. You will work on specialised public‑sector assets and portfolios, supporting financial reporting, insurance and asset‑management needs.

The position thrives on collaboration, mentoring junior valuers and partnering with other JLL service lines to provide integrated solutions. You will manage key client relationships, contribute to business‑development initiatives and ensure all work complies with legislation and professional standards.

• Conduct valuations of specialised public sector assets and portfolios for financial reporting and insurance purposes.
• Prepare detailed, high‑quality valuation reports and advisory documents for government clients.
• Manage key client relationships, ensuring service excellence and identifying growth opportunities.
• Mentor and guide junior valuers.
• Collaborate with other JLL service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to business development, including preparing tenders and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, professional standards, and internal policies.

Requirements

Success in this role requires a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) qualification with current Associate membership of the Australian Property Institute, at least five years of post‑qualification experience, and a proven track record of managing complex valuation projects. Strong analytical, financial modelling, and communication skills, together with a current Australian driver’s licence and citizenship for security clearances, are essential.

• Hold Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) qualification with current API Associate membership.
• Minimum five years post‑qualification experience in commercial or specialised property valuation.
• Proven experience managing complex valuation projects from inception to completion.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce clear reports.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Australian citizenship for client compliance and security clearances.
• Direct experience in public sector valuations for financial reporting (preferred).
• Experience valuing portfolios of land, buildings, plant and equipment (preferred).
