The Construction Manager oversees home construction in assigned communities, ensuring quality control, cost management, and schedule adherence from inception to move‑in.
Key duties include daily site walks, supervising trade partners, managing communications and invoice approvals via Build Pro, and providing performance feedback to the Lead Construction Manager.
The role requires maintaining site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with state and federal building codes, as well as performing storm‑water inspections and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Oversee construction from inception to move‑in, managing schedules, trade partners, and site activities.
- Conduct twice‑daily home walks to ensure quality, schedule compliance, and profitability.
- Lead pre‑construction, pre‑drywall, and final presentation meetings.
- Negotiate and resolve inspector and trade‑partner issues while supporting budget adherence.
- Manage daily trade‑partner communications, invoice approvals, and provide performance feedback.
- Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with building codes; keep safety logs and perform inspections.
- Perform storm‑water pollution prevention inspections per regulatory guidelines.
- Approve change orders, purchase orders, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Collaborate with sales, customer care, and management to resolve issues.
- Utilize Build Pro, Procore, and Microsoft Office to streamline project tracking.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of residential construction management experience, a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred), strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Build Pro, and Procore.
Physical demands involve regular on‑site presence, working more than eight hours daily in a trailer, lifting over 50 lb, climbing ladders, and operating construction equipment and vehicles.

- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance coverage.
