The Senior Manager of Internal Controls and SOX Compliance leads the internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and the SOX compliance program, partnering with business units, internal audit, external auditors, and multiple functional areas to ensure effective governance, risk management, and regulatory reporting.
Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, this role collaborates with the broader Finance team and partners across Accounting, Internal Audit, Program Finance, Compliance, Supply Chain, Payroll, Accounts Payable, IT, and Contracts.
- Lead ICFR and SOX compliance program, ensuring governance, risk, and regulatory reporting.
- Develop strong relationships with functional leaders and external auditors to identify and mitigate risks.
- Improve control efficiency through rationalization, simplification, automation, and coaching of control owners.
- Oversee documentation of controls (narratives, flowcharts, risk matrices) and manage walkthroughs and PBC requests.
- Coordinate testing of business and IT controls, define remediation plans, and report status to management.
- Review SOC1 reports where third‑party reliance impacts ICFR.

- Minimum 10 years SOX experience, including IT general and application controls, and 3‑5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CIA certification required.
- Prior experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm with deep knowledge of GAAP, COSO, and PCAOB requirements.
- US citizenship required; strong interpersonal, project‑management, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000–$195,000, adjusted for location and experience, and V2X offers a competitive total rewards package.
