Preparation of C&I deliverables such as equipment specifications, control philosophises, calculations, equipment datasheets, loop drawings, cable block diagrams, general arrangement drawings, cable routing drawings, reviewing P&IDs and other process information
Participation in safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA)
Coordinate C&I delivery on multi-disciplinary project, interfacing with other disciplines, project engineer, project manager and customer
Working with equipment vendors on developing designs of equipment packages and participating in technical evaluations of vendor designs
Working with the project team to develop cost-effective, efficient and innovative solutions to complex problems to create practical designs based on these solutions
Working on projects in a variety of stages of maturity, including Owner’s Engineer, Design Review, Feasibility Studies, FEED Studies and Detailed Design. There will be opportunities for site work during project development, construction and commissioning
Support in developing proposals and bids for the C&I discipline and contributing to multi-disciplinary proposals

Significant post graduate experience in C&I technical delivery
Experience within Owner’s Engineer or technical advisory sector
Experience of working with design software packages such as Autocad, Aveva, etc
Proven understanding of the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief/scope documents, design concepts as well as experienced in producing calculations
A Degree in a relevant Engineering subject
The ability and desire to assume a lead role in the development of C&I deliverables
Experience of working with clients and contractors with a diverse range of objectives in achieving a technical solution
Knowledge of OEM control systems such as Siemens, ABB, Emerson, etc
Knowledge of design and construction of power and energy projects
Excellent communication skills
Chartered Engineer (or in the process of obtaining) and Member of relevant Engineering Institute
Detailed working knowledge of national and international codes and standards used within the power and energy sector
