The Role
Overview
Admin support for estimating & pre‑contract team in civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Check and upload compiled tender information from Estimating / Bid Team to Client Portals by the deadlines set and in the correct format. -Maintain the Framework schedule. -Support Business development administration -Complete an estimating information pack to issue to subcontractors based on lists from Estimators inclusive of all drawings, specifications, schedules and relevant documentation. Keep enquiry tracker sheets of enquiries and quotes received and issue to Estimating team regularly. -Upload all incoming and outgoing documentation to Workspace (PIM) in correct document folders. -Regular employee forums to ensure all voices are heard -Frameworks involving bridge replacements/upgrades, railway station improvements, tunnel works, and heavy civils. -Log new projects onto the CRM and update status as required. -Maintain the strategic pipeline schedule. -Undertake duties such as report maintenance, report creation, statistics reports. -Assist the estimating team in monitoring and achieving deadlines for return of information to Clients. -Daily bid preparation, transmission and recording the associated data.

-Confidence liaising with different stakeholders across teams -General administration including letters, emails and other communications. -Accurate reporting skills and familiarity with document formatting -Solid organisational and planning capabilities -Complete Pre-con Admin activities, such as: -Strong PC and keyboard skills -Excellent attention to detail and confident communication skills (including telephone manner) -Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines -Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio -Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues -Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities
