Accounting Intern

Description

Interns will support the month‑end close by preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations, collaborate with staff, managers, and directors across all accounting groups, and complete ad‑hoc projects that apply classroom knowledge to real‑world business challenges.

Requirements

Candidates must be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, graduate by Spring 2027, maintain a GPA of 3.2 or higher, and possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Proficiency with data‑analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau, along with demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and strong communication skills, is required.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in accounting, finance, business, or related field; graduation by Spring 2027.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Hold a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and able to provide an unofficial transcript.
• Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and strong communication abilities.

Benefits

The Accounting Corporate Internship is a 10‑12‑week, full‑time (40 hrs/week) program starting in May 2026, located onsite at the corporate office in McKinney, Texas.
