The role involves methodical investigation, analysis, design, and documentation of operational systems and processes, with a focus on safety and SOP development. Responsibilities include identifying technology requirements, collecting and analyzing operations data, troubleshooting procedures, and developing automated workflow tracking methods. The incumbent will also conduct testing to support decision‑making, act as a liaison for long‑term technology solutions, coordinate reporting to internal and external stakeholders, and provide training on analysis results. Additionally, the position manages department invoices and monitors project budgets and costs.
Strong knowledge of engine and compressor policies, compliance regulations, and internal operations is required, along with solid analytical, planning, writing, and data‑management skills. The candidate must be detail‑oriented, an effective problem‑solver, and possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. The ability to clearly explain analysis processes and findings to gas operations teams is essential.
Minimum qualifications include at least five years of analytical experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, though equivalent experience may be considered. A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate PNG company vehicles are required. Specialty‑specific experience may be necessary depending on the designated area such as Customer Service, Damage Prevention, or Pipeline Integrity.
