Hvac Service Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role for an HVAC Service Technician, located in South Orange Village, NJ. The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, including air conditioning, furnaces, and ventilation systems. Other responsibilities include conducting routine maintenance, communicating with customers to provide accurate service assessments, and ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards. The technician will also document work completed and offer professional recommendations to improve system performance.

• Solid understanding of HVAC industry safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to explain technical details to clients and offer recommendations.
• Technical training or a degree in HVAC/R or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred.
• Experience in performing routine maintenance and system troubleshooting to ensure system efficiency and safety.
• EPA Certification and a valid driver's license (required); NATE Certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to dynamic work environments, and manage time effectively.
