Develop construction budgets, estimating labor, material, and construction costs
Select lighting fixtures and lighting control systems to comply with energy codes
Oversee project production efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Perform site visits to document and assess existing electrical systems

Perform photometric lighting studies using AGi23 software
Perform construction administration duties and review all construction document revisions with the Engineer of Record
Design electrical distribution systems starting from the utility source to the customer panelboards then to receptacles and equipment loads
Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, to ensure that installation and operation conform to building codes, industry standards and customer requirements
Perform voltage drop, short circuit, and arc flash calculations along with load flow analyses using SKM Power Tools for Windows software
Create construction documents using AutoCAD and REVIT software

Knowledge or experience in the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and International Building Codes
Four-year minimum degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
At least three years of recent experience as an Electrical PE in electrical building design
Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Other relevant programs could include Bluebeam, AGI-32, SKM Power Tools for Windows
