  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate lighting seamlessly into architectural and urban design.
  • Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to design excellence within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and sustainability goals (e.g., Part L, LEED, BREEAM).
  • Develop and deliver lighting design concepts from feasibility through to detailed design and construction stages.
  • Perform lighting calculations and simulations using DIALux, DIALux evo, and Relux.
  • Create high-quality visualizations and presentations using tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, and 3D rendering software.
  • Support project delivery across multiple sectors including transport, commercial, and public realm.
  • Produce detailed lighting layouts and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.

  • Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
  • Experience working on UK or international projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, DIALux, DIALux evo, Photoshop, InDesign, and visualization tools.
  • 4–8 years of professional experience in architectural lighting design.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of lighting principles, photometric analysis, and lighting control systems.
  • Degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
