At Aligned Data Centers, we foster a workplace where people truly believe in what they do, emphasizing passion and customer focus. The Regional EHS Manager will develop and execute a structured framework that oversees safety, risk management, and business resilience programs across the organization.
The role works closely with the VP of EHS and other internal and external stakeholders to build effective relationships throughout Aligned’s portfolio, supporting rapid growth and a best-in-class safety program. The position is based in Phoenix, AZ, and requires flexibility in work hours, including occasional overtime, weekends, nights, and up to 25% travel across the western U.S.
Key responsibilities include conducting site visits, inspections, audits, and reviews to identify EHS gaps, developing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and standards. The manager leverages lessons learned and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement for data-center construction projects and existing operations, while providing tactical and strategic leadership in compliance assurance, risk mitigation, injury prevention, and environmental management.
Additional duties involve performing safety assessments and compliance reviews for general and sub-tier contractors, reporting EHS performance, reviewing incident reports to ensure thorough root-cause analysis and corrective measures, and partnering with the VP of EHS and regional safety managers to create and promote robust EHS programs and a progressive safety culture.
Candidates must have at least seven years of EHS experience in commercial building or data-center construction/operations, strong leadership and communication skills, and practical knowledge of confined spaces, crane/equipment operations, electrical safety/LOTO, excavations, fall protection, and scaffolds. A Board Certified Safety Professional (BSCP) certification—including CSP, ASP, or CHST—is required. Aligned is committed to a diverse, gender-equal, inclusive workforce and values veterans, offering a passionate team where every voice matters.
