Tasks

-You will comply with the departmental/corporate SOP & LSOP. Will ensure implementation of Dorchester Collection Policies, Standards and Procedures in relation to Engineering fairly and consistently. Will be aware of all existing departmental job safety analysis and strive to work in an accident-free manner and to create a safe working environment for self and for others. -You’ll also be responsible for servicing and attending to repairs on various types of mechanical equipment such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, including motors, pumps, fans, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plant and electricity generators, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment. -You may on occasion be required to adjust your hours of work to cover the hotel needs. -You will be responsible for the physical plant of the beach club - Boilers, Chillers, Heating, Cooling, Rooms Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, as well as resolving any maintenance issues while on shift. You will monitor and maintain the BMS, GRMS and Fire Alarm, related beach clubs' equipment and systems in good working condition. You will perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.

What You Bring

-You have a talent for Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on various MEP systems and equipment. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or other structures such as walkways, parking lots, and guest facilities. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations for the protection of people, data and property. Able to read Building, Air-conditioning, Refrigeration and Electrical drawings. Analytical & critical thinking skills. Able to gather and organize information using a logical and systematic process. Able to work alone with minimum supervision and within a team. -Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic. -At least 4 years’ experience in facility management with minimum 1 year in international 5-star Hotel luxury brand. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a Shift Technician or similar role. -You acknowledge that working in beach club operations involves exposure to heat and sun, operating under pressure, and requires standing and walking for long periods of time. -English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language. -You’ll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team. High school diploma or similar qualification. Technical Trade Course Certificate in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanics/HVAC-R or related. Technical training in HVACR/Electrics/Mechanical/Plumbing.
