The Technician 1 position focuses on preventive maintenance and repair of the company’s equipment fleet, which includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil‑ and gas‑related machinery. Technicians are expected to perform work safely and efficiently to keep equipment uptime at its highest level.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED; trade‑school training is a plus. Preferred applicants have one to three years of experience servicing diesel, heavy‑construction, or specialty‑line equipment. The role may require personal tools and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced setting. Bilingual ability (Spanish or other) may be required depending on location.
The position involves physical tasks such as bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting 50 lb or more, both indoors and outdoors as needed. Compensation ranges from $18.99 to $26.11 hourly, with the exact rate determined by factors such as location, education and experience.
