Supervision Team Leader

Description

• Ensure all civil works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract conditions (FIDIC), and approved method statements.
• Review, comment on, and recommend approval of shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Monitor contractor progress, workmanship, and compliance with quality, HSE, and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify construction quality and compliance with design intent.
• Chair and attend site coordination meetings; issue meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
• Coordinate with local authorities (Dubai Municipality, RTA, Civil Defense, etc.) to ensure statutory compliance and approvals.
• Lead and manage the consultant’s site supervision team, acting as the primary point of contact between the Client, Contractors, and Authorities.
• Identify non-conformities, delays, and construction risks; issue NCRs and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning coordination, and project handover activities.
• Review contractor claims, variations, and extension of time submissions, and provide technical recommendations to the Client.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record keeping in accordance with consultancy standards.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Supervision Team Leader – Civil (Consulting) to lead and manage site supervision services for civil construction projects in Dubai. The role is consultancy-based and focuses on ensuring that construction activities are executed in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract conditions (FIDIC), and local authority regulations. The Supervision Manager will act as the Engineer’s representative on site, safeguarding the client’s interests while ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience on major projects such as high-rise buildings, mixed-use developments, commercial projects, or infrastructure works.
• Proven experience as a Supervision Team Leader, Resident Engineer, or Senior Civil Engineer with a consultancy firm.
• Minimum 12–15 years of overall experience, with at least 7–10 years in a consulting/supervision role within the UAE.
• Extensive experience administering construction contracts under FIDIC conditions.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, Dubai authority regulations, and applicable international standards.
