AP is hiring an Accounting Coordinator to manage project accounting, ensure accuracy, and support regional accounting functions. The role involves auditing monthly billings, reconciling contracts, preparing journal entries, and overseeing receivable collections. It also requires compliance with city, state, and federal funding requirements and coordination with subcontractors and vendors.
Key duties include conducting in‑house invoice audits, administering lien releases, and maintaining payment compliance for subcontractors. The coordinator collaborates with project managers to align owner billings, supports the Textura billing system, and manages vendor documentation and lien filings. Continuous process improvement between finance and operations is also expected.
Candidates need an associate degree in accounting or finance with at least two years of relevant experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience in the A/E/C industry, accounts payable/receivable, and knowledge of GAAP are advantageous. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Spectrum or Prolog, and strong communication, detail‑orientation, and multitasking abilities are required.
