- Lead in the development of an urban design and planning practice in the Atlanta studio in collaboration with other disciplines and geographies
- Provide design and thought leadership for infrastructure and public realm design in urban environments #LIBC2
- Perform and direct site analysis and design concept development including digital and/or handillustrated deliverables suitable to communicate design intent to clients and staff
- Facilitate and present planning proposals with decisionmakers, stakeholders and public at meetings and events
- Develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients, helping them to conceive ideas and establish a vision for future projects
- Lead interdisciplinary projects with opportunity for public realm design and planning of various types, scales, and levels of complexity
- Mentor junior, midlevel, and senior staff to enable an engaged and collaborative team environment
- Develop and maintain client relations
- Apply sustainability principles to various project types
- Manage and direct interdisciplinary teams for various projects types, including civic, institutional, campus, transitoriented development and communities, urban redevelopment and environmentallyrelated analyses and assessments

- Proven client manager
- Proven experience building an urban design program within a multidisciplinary firm
- Proven track record of pursuing and winning largescale planning and urban design projects, including crossselling of architecture, engineering, and planning services
- AICP certified (American Institute of Certified Planners) with regional experience
- Ability to recruit and retain staff
- LEED AP credential strongly preferred
- 15+ years of professional experience working as an urban designer
- Digital graphic skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Rhino, GIS, Urban Footprint
- Strong master planning and design skills on urban and institutionally scaled projects
