  • Implement an information governance program that aligns with the organization’s risk management strategy.
  • Develop and deploy proactive self-assessments to identify compliance risks.
  • Report and advise on proposed changes to Federal or State regulations.
  • Quantify potential risks and provide recommendations for improvements through analysis of technical, operational, and financial data.
  • Monitor and escalate risks to Senior Leadership.
  • Follow up on corrective action plans from the Enhanced QA/QC department.
  • Assign and coordinate timely and accurate responses to regulatory requests.
  • Coordinate updates and reporting to leadership on potential impacts to the Gas Business.
  • Guide the Compliance team in partnership with Gas Operations, Engineering, and Design & Delivery teams to identify risk areas, impacts, mitigation strategies, and effective approaches.
  • Establish communication channels with stakeholders, including Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance staff.
  • Participate in incident investigations in partnership with business, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance staff.
  • Oversee the definition, documentation, and assessment of control effectiveness.
  • Act as liaison during regulatory audits, field visits, and inspections.
  • Establish reports to provide updates to leadership.
  • Lead regular proactive meetings with Regulatory Agencies.
  • Identify new and changed compliance obligations, evaluate their impact, and implement necessary changes.
  • Utilize regulatory compliance and data analytics tools/software to enhance performance and reporting.
