Leading business development activities with new and existing clients to support revenue and the strategic direction of the Water Resources team.
Application of technical fundamentals and flood modelling (hydrologic and hydraulic) and water balance modelling to a range of assessments including: Flooding and Surface Water Impact Assessments; Watercourse diversion design, monitoring, and rehabilitation; Water Management Plans; Erosion and Sediment Control.
Conducting risk assessments and advising feasible solutions to clients
Technical leadership of projects, including full project management responsibilities encompassing client relationship management and project financials
Reviewing and improving technical documentation as required
Assessment of water infrastructure (dams, levees, drainage works) from strategic planning to design and operation across a range of industries with a focus in the resources sector
CPEng and/or RPEQ (or willingness to obtain) high desired
Demonstrated ability to build relationships, develop business and project manage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels
Proven leadership skills and a desire to train, guide and mentor less experienced engineers
Well-rounded critical thinking and problem solving skills
Strong knowledge and application of local standards, Australian standards and statutory and regulatory requirements relating to civil design and water management
