Make a difference, protect lives, and achieve your dreams by building a career with an industry‑leading fire, life safety and security company. As a Security and Fire Alarm Service Technician you will install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair security, fire alarm, and related life safety systems to ensure they operate effectively and comply with codes and customer requirements.
You will troubleshoot system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide on‑site support and training to clients. Work includes both scheduled service calls and emergency response, requiring flexibility and strong problem‑solving skills.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical school training considered a plus. Preferred candidates have experience servicing commercial security and fire alarm systems and can safely operate hand and power tools as well as a fleet vehicle.
The position involves regular physical activity such as standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and using hands to manipulate equipment. You must be able to balance, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions while maintaining visual and auditory acuity.
Compensation ranges from $25 to $28 per hour based on experience, and the benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, company‑paid life insurance, short‑term disability, 401K with employer match, paid vacation, company holidays, a vehicle when applicable, and opportunities for training and career development.
