Network & Security Lead

Description

Role Purpose: Responsible for the Management of the entire Enterprise Network Infrastructure, including data, voice communication and security, along with monitoring & control activities to ensure reliability, stability and security of network infrastructure and continuity of related services; and management of assigned project(s).

• Monitoring the enterprise-wide network, security, and collaboration infrastructure and services; generate & gather network statistics of relevant domains for effectively maintaining continuity of operations, safeguard against possible vulnerabilities and capacity planning of the same.
• Ensuring that the routine / ad-hoc preventive maintenance activities of concerned domains are timely performed in-line with the governing standards.
• Ensuring effective life cycle management of admin profiles for relevant domains.
• Reviewing the helpdesk system statistics of performance of concerned ICT Staff.
• Performing services restoration activities in the event of a disaster or outage in his/her concerned domains, perform Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA) of all relevant problems, incident and errors; and ensure deployment of permanent fixes.
• Planning and executing periodic preventive maintenance activities for network, security, and collaboration platforms.
• Scheduling periodic audits of network, security, and collaboration systems audits within the enterprise for relevant domains including coordination for internal and external audits.
• Closely monitoring the users’ complaints / problems / errors and provide timely resolutions of assigned SD tickets.
• Adhering to licenses compliance (Hard/Soft) of concerned domains.
• Carrying out periodic and planned drill tests for his/her concern domains and document results.
• Assisting the Head of Networks & Infrastructure in carrying out project management activities for major projects and initiatives.
• Ensuring high availability and continuity of operations for all network, security, and collaboration services.
• Responsible for the backup management process which includes backup through different modes for devices and appliances, restoration activities of his/her concerned domains.
• Ensuring effective patch and policy management process for all network and security solutions.
• Developing, documenting, implementing and maintaining a disaster recovery plan for enterprise networks, security, and collaboration infrastructure.
• Providing advanced technical assistance to networks, systems & security administrators on core solutions.
• Managing, guiding and assisting direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures.
• Developing necessary documentation w.r.t. his / her job domain and record the configurations (i.e. logical / physical).
• Planning, designing, implementing and deploying of enterprise-wide secured and scalable network, security, and collaboration infrastructure and services (On-Prem & Cloud) in consultation with Head of Networks & Infrastructure.
• Complying with and implementing applicable policies / procedures including enforced Information Systems Security Policy.
• Promoting a high-performance working environment and the organization's values.
• Leading / supervising the team of Network Administrators including work scheduling, prioritizing, monitoring and providing the technical assistance for the assigned project(s).

Requirements

Technical Skills

Network: Fortinet SDWAN, HP-Aruba networking (wired & wireless), F5 LTM.

Security: NGFW, Proxy, IDS/IPS, WAF, NAC, DLP.

• Certification or courses on Next-Gen security firewalls and CCSP would be value added
• Business Acumen
• Relevant Certification (preferably CCNP, CCIE, Fortinet NSE, or Avaya).
• Knowledge in Work Tools
• Excellent Technical knowledge of core solutions:
• CISSP / CISM certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of hand-on experience of administrating and managing Enterprise Network, Security, and Collaboration implementations.
