The Rig Clerk provides essential administrative and logistical support to the Rig Manager and field operations team on an unconventional oil field in Abu Dhabi.
Act as the point of contact for field staff regarding schedules, training, and HR queries
Prepare daily and weekly reports, including crew rosters, timesheets, and expense claims
Attend and document safety meetings and toolbox talks
This onshore role is responsible for coordinating personnel logistics, maintaining accurate records, supporting safety compliance, and acting as a liaison between field staff and corporate departments.
Liaise with HR, travel, and payroll departments to ensure smooth personnel logistics
Maintain filing systems and ensure documentation is up to date and audit-ready
Track training compliance and short service employees
Support rig management with administrative tasks and documentation
Coordinate crew movements and maintain accurate personnel-on-site (POS) records

Minimum year of administrative or logistics experience in the Oil & Gas industry (essential)
Experience in Unconventional Oil & Gas operations (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset)
Additional Information: This is a local hire position based in Abu Dhabi; candidates must be eligible to work in the UAE
Valid H2S certification and other relevant onshore oilfield safety certifications (preferred)
Experience working on projects or with contractors (ideal)
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in fast-paced oilfield environments.
The role may require occasional travel to remote field locations
Strong communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); SAP experience preferred
