- Train and mentor junior Accounting Specialists or clerical staff on standard processes and systems.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and schedules.
- Partner with branch and department leaders to resolve financial questions and support reporting needs.
- The position involves sitting for extended periods, performing data entry, and engaging in frequent communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Process a higher volume of transactions and perform account reconciliations with minimal supervision.
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Research, track, and resolve moderate financial discrepancies and customer/vendor issues.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- The role involves regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, both in person and through virtual platforms.
- Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and financial process improvements.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
- Experience with accounting or ERP software and strong Excel skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree or coursework in Accounting preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, AP/AR processes, and reconciliations.
- Deltek/Vantagepoint experience is a plus but not required.
