Senior Urban Designer

Description

This position offers the chance to work on landmark projects shaping Perth’s future. The successful candidate will contribute creative design solutions, strategic thinking, and technical expertise across a range of urban design projects. Senior applicants will also provide leadership, mentor junior designers, and manage client relationships to ensure exceptional outcomes.

• For senior candidates: lead projects, manage client engagement, and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Develop and deliver high-quality urban design concepts, master plans, and public realm strategies.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and visual material for clients and approvals.
• Collaborate with planners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to achieve integrated design outcomes.

Requirements

• Senior Urban Designer: 6+ years’ experience with proven leadership and project management skills.
• Degree-qualified in Urban Design, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture.
• Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
• Strong portfolio showcasing master planning and public realm projects.
• Exposure to high-profile projects shaping Perth’s urban landscape.
• Proficiency in design software.
• Urban Designer: 3+ years’ experience in urban design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
