- Review engineering calculations or technical documents for accuracy, appropriate content and contractual requirements
- Technical integration of engineering deliverables, such as specifications, technical position papers, and design reports as necessary.

- Completion of a 2-year technical degree may substitute for 2 years of related work experience
- Ability to interpret drawings
- Experience with design, fabrication and repair of primary system components at nuclear power plants
- Knowledge of nuclear, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a drive for problem solving in a dynamic environment.
- Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 8 years of directly related experience
- Familiar with codes and standards pertaining to the applicable discipline
- Familiar with commonly used concepts, practices, procedures and equipment within related field
- Experience with multi-discipline projects and technical integration of engineering deliverables
- Familiarity with configuration management of a system design, systems engineering, or experience in plant operations
- Knowledgeable of project engineering practices and selected electrical, mechanical, and chemical equipment applications, equipment and processes
- Familiarity with welding and machining activities
- May require being familiar with corporate drafting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred ability to generate CAD drawings, if applicable and using corporate standard software
- Be familiar with the company’s safety and health policy and program
- Appropriate or related technical experience with equipment, processes and control systems used in plant, field or research applications
