AV Project Manager

Description

• Coordinate closely with design, sales, estimating, engineering, and on-site teams to ensure full understanding and execution of project scope.
• Lead and manage multiple ICT and AV integration projects from planning through completion.
• Provide technical leadership, support training needs, and contribute to process improvement within Project Management and Operations.
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and partners to support seamless implementation and system performance.
• Interface directly with clients, delivering proactive communication, status updates, and high-level service.
• Oversee labor scheduling, workflow planning, and critical path timelines to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Prepare weekly reports, project logs, and other operational documentation.
• Supervise field personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to designs, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Attend bid walk-throughs, assist in developing scopes of work, and verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, material management, and documentation.

• 3+ years’ experience managing AV, ICT, or technology integration projects in a design-build environment.
• A college degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Professional certifications such as CTS, CTS-I, RTPM, PMP, or Six Sigma belts.
• 3+ years of experience as an AV Project Manager, Job Foreman, or similar role overseeing construction-based integration projects (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CTS, CTS-I, RTPM, PMP, or Six Sigma are a strong plus.
• Strong familiarity with industry standards, compliance regulations, and quality assurance processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, construction-focused environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and strong organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of ICT and/or AV systems, with technical or design experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational efficiency.
• A driven, high-performing professional with strong leadership skills and an exceptional work ethic.
• Proven experience in budget management, project scheduling, and labor coordination.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams across engineering, estimating, sales, operations, and multiple trades.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with confidence managing client interactions.
• Technical or design background in audiovisual systems, structured cabling, access control, wireless, or DAS.
