Role
What you would be doing
Estimate resource requirements for each IWP and verify with the General Foreman.
Maintain the Change Management process in the packaging program.
Identifying and clearing IWP constraints with stakeholders prior to release for construction
Linking each IWP to its related ITR (Inspection Test Report).
Developing plans for each IWP including start and finish dates and ensuring integration into the overall level 4 schedule in coordination with construction partner planners.
Prepare weekly reports that monitor the packages drawings IFC dates and material delivery status.
Analysing the project design documents to determine the scope and requirements of the work.
Linking the bill of quantity ID (BOQ ID) to the IWPs for the invoicing process.
Attend the scoping sessions with stakeholders prior the preparation of the IWPs.
Developing Work Packages with all the details required for its execution (engineering deliverables, materials, resources, constraints, safety procedures and quality control measures.
Work with the project planner, and Construction Engineer to ensure work packages alignment in accordance with path of construction.
Monitoring the progress of the IWPs against the schedules and identifying any potential delays or issues that may impact the project timeline.
Maintain a sufficient backlog of approved CWPs and/or IWPs.
Ensure that data required to build work packages is available and accurate, in liaison with other department such as Engineering / Material Management.
Monitor and update the life Cycle of the CWP and/or IWPs.
Coordinate with other AWP engineers from other disciplines to ensure logical execution sequence.
Creates and releases CWP’s and /or IWP’s to Construction team sufficiently ahead of time.
Identifies and highlights the delays of Engineering drawings / Supplied Materials to the stakeholders
Work with Document Control to establish EWP / CWP / IWPs document ties.
Ensure proper execution of AWP procedures and practices on the project.
Review work packages (CWPs and /or IWPs) prior to release for construction.
