Mortgage Administrator

Description

• Communicate effectively by phone with clients, colleagues, solicitors, lenders, and potential clients
• Handle tricky conversations and keep processes moving forward
• Identify client needs and achieve optimal outcomes for clients and the business
• Maintain relationships with mortgage advisers, lenders and clients through regular contact
• Ensure clients have a smooth and pleasant experience with the Just Mortgages process
• Administer mortgage and protection applications from sign‑up, supplying required documents to lenders and insurers
• Assist advisors by providing integral data to lenders and insurers
• Work proactively with all parties to ensure policy terms are produced promptly
• Use specialist in‑house systems to add notes, input data and update application status for maximum efficiency
• Provide clients with regular updates, feedback, and answer non‑advice based questions throughout the buying process
• Provide evidence of right to work: passport or birth certificate
• Provide proof of address

Requirements

Candidates must have legal entitlement to work in the UK and will be required to submit proof of right to work, address verification, and National Insurance details; the position is subject to a probationary period.

• Master multitasking and manage numerous responsibilities
• Generic understanding of mortgages is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
• Subject to passing probationary period

• £23,058.50 basic salary
• £25,508 total salary including bonuses
