In this role the technician installs VRF HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes, working closely with project managers and other trades to meet schedule and accuracy requirements.
Routine maintenance tasks include cleaning, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing filters, while also diagnosing and repairing any system issues that arise.
System performance is tested and adjusted using specialized tools to optimize efficiency, and detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance are kept along with reports and recommendations for management.
The technician interacts professionally with clients, clearly explaining work performed and addressing any concerns, and consistently follows safety protocols while staying current with industry standards and regulations.
We are looking for an experienced VRF HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing Variable Refrigerant Flow systems, primarily in commercial environments, and will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of these systems.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid HVAC certification or license, and at least four years of HVAC installation and repair experience, with a preference for prior work on VRF systems. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of HVAC principles, refrigerants, electrical systems, and be proficient with diagnostic tools and software.
