Description
Design Review: Collaborate with design teams to ensure that plans and specifications align with the project’s technical requirements and objectives.
Technical Support: Provide engineering and technical support during the planning and execution phases of the project, ensuring that designs are correctly interpreted and implemented.
Policies, Guidelines and Protocols: Ensure that all engineering activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards, conducting inspections to maintain compliance.
Progress Monitoring: Monitor the progress of the technical aspects of the project, providing updates and reports to the Project Manager on potential issues or delays.
Documentation: Prepare materials for reports by gathering information, structuring outlines, and drafting work progression documents. Develop clear and precise graphic presentations to illustrate technical and operational aspects effectively for internal and external stakeholders.
Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Relationship Management: Effectively communicate to the Business Unit relevant project updates and developments that impact business development as well as provide advice and guidance to correctly adhere to the new regulations.
Insights & Reporting: Prepare presentations, reports, consultant/vendor comparison statements, and other necessary documents to be used within the Technical Department, ensuring clear, data-driven insights that support project decision-making.
On-Site Problem Solving: Address technical issues that arise on-site, working with contractors and teams to find solutions and ensure the project remains on schedule.
Resource Coordination: Help manage resources, including materials and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and in line with project needs.
Productivity tools: Utilize cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance your productivity and efficiency.
